So they did some drugs and even wrote a song or two about 'em. It's not like they were forcing others to use the drugs, so they really did nothing wrong.

And consider that the Beatles did songs that tested your imagination (such as "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"). Newer songs today are merely crude and contain bits of nothing but sex and drugs (such as "Marijuana" by Nirvana. Good band, bad song... along with countless rap and hiphop groups that I refuse to listen to)
