The extra campaigns where fun but needed to be longerrr.

And to be honest, that mechanic really doesn't affect your gameplay..really all it does is makes your screen go all blurry/spaztic/disorienting, and you get hallucinations of cockroaches on your screen. It doesn't affect how you escape/doesn't affect health. It's just annoying when your screen looks like it's covered in water droplets. Other than that, it doesn't do anything.
The scaring in Amnesia is more immersion, it's not cheap pop-up scares (although there are a few jump scares- Doors slamming, lights suddenly turning off, etc. Run of the mill survival horror gameplay.)

Last game that scared me was f.e.a.r 2, very pop-uppy. And the scare system changed since F.E.A.R 1. It's not clean cut OH ACTION, SCARES, MORE ACTION! OH GOD ALMA! SOLDIERS!!! now it's more SOLI-ALMA IS GOING TO RAPE YOU-DIERS GUNS LITTLE EXPERIMENTS SLOBBERING ON YOUR SCREEN. It was basically a clusterfuck of jump-scares. It didn't help that I have anxiety issues gdusekhsf.

Well, the mirror thing isn't anything supernatural, per say, but I'm afraid that there will be something staring back at me over my shoulder every time I look into a mirror. There have been a few times where I freaked out over a black towel hanging on a towel-rack in the background. xD
