i have a Panasonic FZ28 27mm to 486mm ! whenever i try to shoot birds in flight, they are either out of focus OR out of filed of view at that telephoto !
how do you click at that precise moment ?

Practice and more practice really, check you're camera for how it focuses, most will have auto and manual, some will have a continuous focus for tracking.

I have found sometimes manual works better than auto for moving subjects coming towards me, while auto-focus or continuous works better for panning shots.
