Well I just missed Bane and Strike Anywhere and a big show with Product of Waste, Convulsions and my friends band To the Depths, but recently I got to see Rampages last show (for a while). But I'll be going to plenty of shows in the next few weeks. What are you seeing?

Ahhh that sucks man. Bane isn't one of my favorites, but I'd kill to see Strike Anywhere.

I love Bane and Strike Anywhere, it would have been a great show man. Oh and that second show in Rhode Island, the Effort played that too, I love the Effort.

And Ceremony is so good it hurts.

And yeah I'm not into Terror either, it's a little too tough-guy hardcore for me.

I agree about Terror, but I love Foundation and don't want to pay and not see all the bands haha.

The Effort fucking rules. They can here but eight kids showed up so they'll never be back.

And yes. The new Ceremony record is godly.

Eight kids for the Effort? Luckilly for me they're from Providence. Their shows around here get a pretty decent crowd. Hopefully if they pick up a little more hype they'll try coming to your area again (where was that again?) They're also really good fucking guys from what I hear.

Birmingham, Alabama. I mean our scene is growing, so I suppose they'll be back eventually.
And yea, they really, really are. Some of the nicest people I've met at shows. The vocalist also would talk between the songs, and he's a pretty incredible guy, and had a lot of stuff to say that doesn't get said often enough.

Well they played a show in my area, and my buddy's band, which is extremely politically oriented played before them. And in between songs Cam will talk about causes and current issues that people should be aware of. I'm aware that that isn't for everyone, but a bunch of kids went outside.

And then The Effort dedicated their last song to his band and said, "This one goes out to To the Depths, the fucking awesome band with a lot to offer the scene, that you guys all missed because you went outside to talk about how cool you are."

Holy shit that's awesome.
With us he talked allot about homophobia and how much it pissed him off that Hardcore kids are usually on the wrong side of that argument, and also about how much meatheads and jocks piss him off. Great, angry guy.

Yeah man, they have a really awesome old school sound, there's not a lot of gang vocals or breakdowns or shit like that but they have an awesome pace and sound and it's really sweet live. There are so many things I could compare it to but just check out To the Depths on myspace, I also have a demo I could send you over AIM or something similar if you want.
