for mine own sleep was filled to the brim with terror after terror-- a quite unsatisfactory dormant rest. for it came to pass that once i awoke, the terrors did not stop there! as unrelentless as the coming tide, and as beyond control as an angry hippopotamus, my morning followed suit with my sleep!

for I, Shane, could not-- for the life of me-- find my shoes

quite a travesty i know, but it is all over and past,
for now...
