for sure, will do. i saw a nice place right by coogee today, but apparently coogee sucks for surfing, but i'm going to see a place at darlinghurst tonite and one in bondi on wed, i've got my fingers crossed for the bondi one.
question: do i save any $ by buying a roundtrip ticket on the train?
i'm still standing by my statement that sydney is lacking beaches.

hmmm.. sounds cool.. bondi would be a great place to stay, its usually also one bus trip away from cofa, and two for unsw. or a bus and train and bus. lol. go for the bondi one!!

His self portraits fascinate me as do some of his portraits of women. Yeah they are kinda sickly sweet, just look at the way he draws hands it's so weird and interesting. Come to think of it I actually wrote a paper about him and did a self portrait of myself referencing schiele, but i focused on narcisism, and I'm sitting in judgement of everyone's soul. You should post yours and i'll post mine

yeah schiele is the sh*t when it comes to german expressionism. I love the way he can contort anatomy and isolate bodyparts while keeping everything all tied together in the composition.
actually the first thing that attracted me to him was that he drew really sketchy like like i did. People used to tell me it's wrong but i could retort "but schiele did it"... yeah...

haha, lol, i know! i love her stuf. my one lecturer put the pic "your gaze hits the side of my face" supersize on the front of our course outline. its a shame there arent more boys in the class tho

Regarding the exchange questions you left on my journal: Yes, it's a university program, called Nordplus, only for scandinavia though but I'm sure that Australia has some connections. well, even if you don't speak the language in the country you'd be in, you should be able to manage - we've had quite a bit of exchange students in Iceland for example, who don't speak Icelandic, the teachers or the students simply took the time to explain the course to them

do you just speak icelandic and english??? i pretty much only speak english. i was taught abit of oitalian in primary school- like 6 years worth- but have forgotten all of it, and learnt bits of german and mandarin etc.. but again , forgotten it. i think its because i n o/s countries, learing english is much more important- here we know it already and know most places will have english speaking people, thats maybe why languages isnt as big a thing as it could be.. dont be nervous though- it will go really quickly and you'll have heaps and heaps of fun!!!!

Nah, it's cool - ask whatever you like - sometimes I like to know what techniques people use, or what a piece means or how they feel when doing it etc... so ask anything you like

i'm a video and film director, i dont work as a photographer but as you can imagine i have some experience and knowledge on photography. i didnt study it but i had some training at the university.
i have been taking pics for the last 12 years i think.....
photography is my most loved hobby
