hey, acaba de salir Blender 2.81, y se que sacaste un addon de XPS para la versión 2.80, mi pregunta es, ¿planearás sacar una versión para 2.81 o harás el ultimo addon que sacaste compatible con 2.81?

I have been playing around with the new blender. And it looks really promising.
Still ALPHA (lots of bugs and crashes).
Beta should arrive in August. And the first RC around October.


The python API should be finalized in september, so trying to do anything with the addon before that is just a waste of time.
I the meantime, creating a file in Blender 2.79 and then opening it in Blender 2.8 works just fine.

Yes, you're right about the changing API.

I'm going to try opening old blends in 2.8, just for fun.


By the way, I wanted to ask this earlier, are you also a member of DigitalEro?

They are mostly centered around Source Engine game models which eventually get ported to other formats. They use tools like XPS Tools, MMD Tools, Blender Source Tool, etc.

Algo que considero debería implementar es un sistema de retargeting que permita aplicar una pose de un personaje a otro con nombres de huesos diferentes sin tener que realizar el esfuerzo de cambiar los nombres de los huesos con el bonedit uno a uno, al menos que tuviera un sistema de reconocimiento de los sistemas de rigging generalmente reconocidos, creo que ahorraría mucho tiempo para la comunidad que sigue día tras día esta excelente aplicación.

En el panel XPS Bones tienes 2 botones bajo "BoneDict". Con estos botones puedes usar un diccionario de hueros para renombrar los huesos de la armadura.
Lo que ahora me doy cuenta que estaria faltando es una opcion para generar un diccionario para la armadura seleccionada. Esto lo voy a agregar en la proxima version

Sin duda alguna con esta aplicación nos abrió a un mundo nuevo para los artistas 3D y animadores principalmente por su integración con Blender por lo cual quisiera darle infinitas gracias y pedirle el favor de que por favor procure implementar el addon para Blender 2.8 ya que he intentado con las versiones alfas y aún no aparece, aunque lo ideal es que aparezca cuando salga la versión Beta, a fin de año, con esto ayudaría a una comunidad entera que está a la espera de su implementación para Blender 2.8

Me alegra que el addon te resulte util.

Planeo agregarlo a Blender 2.8 pero a estas alturas falta mucho. Hace poco sacaron el motor Blender Internal! y faltan muchos cambios mas!

Asique hasta que pararezca un vesrion beta no vale la pena tratar de hacer nada.

Hola Mr. JhonZero. Queria preguntarle una cosa... No lo hago como peticion... sino para saber si esta entre sus posibildades. 

El addon funciona a las mil maravillas, sin embargo he notado que a este addon le faltan un par cosa que serian muy bienvenidos: 1) el hecho de selecionar que huesos van a ser afectados por una pose que el usuario cargue en blender. 

2) Lo otro seria (pero esto desde mi punto de vista seria ser muy exigente .... me disculpo de antemano por ello): de lo que usted maneja ¿Es posible diseñar una forma de que dentro de blender se pueda hacer "flip/mirror" a determinados huesos del armazon, de la misma forma que hace XPS? 

Como dije.... solo pregunto por curiosidad. Sea cual sea su respuesta, la entendere.

1) Creo que seria posible, tengo que investigar como mostrar la lista de huesos y como seleccionarlos.

2) Puedes hacerlo con blender. Primero debes asegurarte de renombrar los huesos a la convencion de blender. En modo pose selecciona 1 o mas huesos que quieras copiar la pose y preciona Ctrl+C. Luego Preciona Ctrl+V y selecciona "flipped on x-axis" de las opciones del operador, o preciona SHIFT+CTRL+V para pegar e invertir al mismo tiempo.

Para espejar la pose es aun mas facil. En modo pose selecciona todos los huesos. Preciona Ctrl+C y luego SHIFT+Ctrl+V
