as for comments: I said, you've got the desire and the drive. next?
take your pride and lock it up in a box. Learn to look and listen to the world. Observe. Truly accept that it's ok not to know things, and practice learning.

Take some classes in life drawing or start sketching anatomy. learn perspective (saw a great book on it the other day, it's pretty intense: Basic perspective and drawing 4th ed ($60) isbn0471472743)

above all else, don't quit, and don't let people push you to something you don't want.

Thanks for the advice... I have gotten a couple anatomy and human figure books and they have realy helped, but I kind of like to draw weird little sketches of things unpreportional and strange.
