UMM WELP--IM IN COMMUNITY COLLEGE SO ITS A BIT DIFFERENT. SO LIEK. IN AMERICA--tHERE ARE 4 MAIN TYPES OF COLLEGE--COMMUNITY COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY, AND IVY LEAGUE COLLEGES. THESE 3 TYPES THEN HAVE 'SPECIALTIES' OR SELECTIVE GRADUATE PROGRAMS. VERY RARELY--THERE ARE LEGIT 'SPECIALTY' COLLEGES AND THEY ARE HELLA EXPENSIVE.

IM IN COMMUNITY COLLEGE... CUZ I COULDNT AFFORD THE SPECIALTY COLLEGE I WANTED TO GO TO WHICH WAS THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO.

THIS IS HOW IT GOES DOWN:

Community college is astronomically cheaper--and less serious. You dont even need a HS diploma to go to community college. I failed my last year of HS, changed my major, thus not getting scholarships--so I opted to go to community college for an "Art Major Transfer." This is a bs indefinite time waster... I doodle all day and pretend like im working--occasionally I'll start a gossiping session about more bs and irrelevant crap--thus distracting me and my classmates. My art teacher hates it... and we only have 3 art teachers so lucky me--I get him for at least 6 hours a day. ::3 OH! and about 40% of my class time is spend looking for food, eating food, or complaining about running out of food.

BUT--I met tons of awesome people in this program at my community college... including NICOLE and my significant other--ZAC EFRON.

With these two indivuduals... I am definitely able to carry out my food, gossip, and psuedo-productive habits. BUT THIS YEAR THEY SAID THEY WOULD HELP ME SO I DONT FAIL ANOTHER CLASS. ::Y

I learn some--but I already know a lot... and I can easily say that im in the top 10 of my art class skill level stuff yada yada. ::c I spend a lot of time re learning stuff.

AND OMG--my schedule. I dont go to school every day... I get to pick my schedule around what I want as classes. This semester I have:

MONDAY-WEDNESDAY: Intermediate Drawing 9:00AM - 11:45AM, Life Drawing 12:00PM - 2:45PM, 3-D Design 3:00PM - 5:45PM.

TUESDAY-THURSDAY: Art History II 1:30PM - 2:35PM.

AND THEN I GET A 3 DAY WEEKEND EVERY WEEK.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE IS LIKE--THE LABEL OF POOR/SLACKER HERE... OR NOT SERIOUS ENOUGH TO GO STRAIGHT TO UNIVERSITY.

But I enjoy it--4 art classes a semester is funnn. But next year I gotta actually take smart classes like math and english. 88C
