Thanks. It's great to get feedback from people as I'm just starting to take it seriously and try to make money from it. I bet you could make jewellery with the right book, right tools and a few spare hours, though.

Well my school has a jewellery class which I am VERY tempted in taking cept I can't take it this year becaues I already have too many classes as it is (4 art classes and 2 gen eds math and english) but HOPEFULLY

I'd love to have some lessons to make me better but I don't know of anywhere round here. I'm completely self taught in most things that I do so I'm sure you can learn as well.

but when you get to college ther will be most likely classes that you can take to get better ^_^ augh right now i hate being an art major because there are just soo many histories i have to do and its sucks but i'm majoring in photography which is kewl ^_^

hmm yeah the local adult education should help. For me just being around some new ppl/photographers I get to pick up some of their techniques and little tricks. It would also depend I guess what city you grew up in as well. I grew up in my states capital city so yeah... it was quite busy and full of photo opportunity but if you looked most of my photos aren't of the city so it didn't really help me all that much XD

I'm afraid I've past the college stage! I did my degree a couple of years ago - in fashion design surprisingly. I am looking into doing some local adult education that might help me in my craft work, though. There's not that much in my area but the government are focussing on arts quite a bit so maybe it will improve.
