Ha yeah they go into art thinking that it will be easy and fun and then learn the hard way that they were wrong. I think its funny seeing freshment art majors switch after their first couple art classes.

Haha, I got out KH a while back and never managed to get back in. I haven't even played any of the new games. D| All theses artists pop up and I'm like "What? who is that/i>?"

I was thinking about minoring in business, just in case I wanna do freelance stuff I will be able to know how to manage it all cause right now I don't know the first thing about taxes and whatnot, lawlz
Right now I'm taking Photo 1 (which is all film) and Graphic Design 2. Film photography is just a pain in the rear. Its soooo time consuming and I feel like I'm never going to use it in the future. The only thing good about it is that its taught me how to manage a camera but I could have learned the same thing doing digital. Dunno. Graphic Design 2 is cool but its a lot of poster designs and working with typography. I feel like we should be doing logos and other stuff too. Right now we are doing 'Death of Typography' and we have to figure out if or if not type is dead and express it in a poster (surprise surprise) Its all fun but really time consuming and all concept based.

Why does it have to film photography? That seems sort of odd for a graphic designer.

Cause film makes you focus on using aperture, shutter speed, etc. Where digital you can just snap 50 pics of the same thing on different settings and choose the best one without learning anything. You have more limitations with film so you think more... idk it sucks.
Of course. I could upload what I have now and get some criticism off of it cause I'm not getting any here. Every time I print it the colors turn out weird (cause the library printer sucks) so everyone in the crit just talks about the weird colors, not the concept or anything, ugh
