Ahh, I'm sorry to hear that. That must be pretty difficult =/
And I know you weren't, but I thought it was only appropriate. Glad I did, I just saw the new stuff you put up, you're really good! I'm not a huge fan of anime style in general, but I really like the "Falling to reality" piece, it's cool And the "Bee and Puppycat" picture turned out really well too.

*hug* No, thank you for being so nice. I mean really... I'm not that motivated and if you like that stuff then you're going to like when I bother! Yeah... I'm 22 now and haven't properly watched anime since about 6 years. I am a big Studio Ghibli (Hayao Miyazaki ) fan though, since I was a little girl. However anime I strayed away from, but that's because I'm around people who don't much like it. I feel a bit stupid for liking it... and some other personal reasons too. I do like anime-ish art-style though. But some people are wanting me to do realistic. I'm trying but my passion is more with this kind of art (sakimichan): coolvibe.com/wp-content/upload… and game art. Since I studied Art & Design, and Games Development, wanting and aiming to be a Concept Artist for Video Games. That didn't work out >.> because of anxieties etc. ANYWAY my point is thanks for being so encouraging. It really helps a person.

Hah, there's no need to thank me, just telling you what I think ^__^ I'm excited to see what else you end up doing
Also, I've actually never "properly" watched anime, though like you I am also a Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki fan! What's your favorite of his movies? I personally never got into anime because of my family, but also because the anime that all of my friends are into I just find to be kinda dumb.. But I do know that there are legitimately good animes out there, I just have yet to find them.
That style, sakimichan, is quite ambitious O_O If you master that, it'll be super cool though, so good luck.
Sorry to hear about the way your studies went =/ My sister had a similar problem in college. She did manage to pull through but she had an awful time with it all...
But again, no problem, I really do think you've got talent; I can't wait to see more.
