*rubs the back of his head sheepishly* Alright, I've finally got a scanner. I'll be doing an art dump on monday of new sketches. But there's not much finalized. I've been doing a lot of sketchwork.

(oh, and one more itty bit question-is filling out that damned FAFSA a toughy, or does it fly by? I was confused on the PIN number part-I applied and printed the PIN reference they gave me, but the one the FAFSA wants is...much shorter than my reference...-if you don't know what the hell I'm blabbing about-it's okay, I'll start pinning people at school)

FAFSA flies by rather quickly. Though I think yours might be a bit more complicated if you're under 24. The pin is in regards to the digital pin... they'll e-mail you a pin number or whatever a week or so after your application. It's usually just a 4 number pin, but I don't think it has a length limit.

My updates are going to start out slow. I'm in the middle of a bunch of assignments from art college, while not having the proper materials, and it's quite hectic. On top of that, I'm sick... oh and don't hope for too much improvement.

Being unprepared can definitely lead you to that depressive state of anxiety...well, you do what you can, and get your college work done. I'm heading there, and I don't know first hand, but I have a gut feeling it's going to be one hell of a ride.

And you've improved with anatomy to me! Though they're just rough sketches, I bet they'll be eye boggling once you can get through with them.

*long draw out sigh* I know it. I've been watching. You've been improving very well. I'm glad to hear you found a more specialized college than Ai. Truth be told I know a lot of artists that went to Ai who later found out they are very much a corporate machine and the teacher/student ratio is overwhelming. But then I've heard good things as well. I guess it all depends what you're going for.

As for me I've gotten into a bad rut. I'm very low on money right now and my tablet pc broke. I have no tablet, and no scanner, and no money. I draw in a sketchbook. I also write a lot. So rest assured when I do get these things, I will have a massive art dump.

This will hopefully happen when bad things stop happening to me. I was planning on going to the Art Academy of San Fransisco, taking online courses in their illustration program which has all kinds of courses for paneling and character design! But then I got into this financial situation. My FAFSA will cover my classes with money to spare, but in order to apply and register classes it is $240. I had it all ready, then this crap happened. I'll have the money hopefully next semester, and can start then.

Thanks for noticing though. It's reassuring to see someone misses me posting art other than my significant others.

Oh,no...such a shame.

Sorry for killing you before learning the reasons. But I do feel your pain with the tablet. My school luckily has very large Wacom tablets-but it's hard to concentrate when you have twenty-five screaming vermin in the background, so I don't get much done.

And at home, I'm forced to use my dreaded mouse, which is wireless, but can be quite choppy. So I use Photoshop CS at home for minor adjustments to light-photofilter, gradients, blah blah.

But, I do hope that your financial status gets better, (along with mine-I'M POOR AS HELL), and to see your art again. I can't wait to see new art!

Yes, like lorikitty said, we weren't being rude at all. We were simply offering our perspectives and opinions. I commented on gothicanthro's new journal. I find that you were the one being rude rather. I stick by this whole-heartedly, and you should read my comment if you want to understand why It hink that. I don't play into this drama bs. I'm not here for that. I think gothicanthro misconstrued what we were trying to acheive, and you jumped on us, with some rather silly and immature comments. Not once anywhere did either of us use derrogatory terms, or have a tone of being upset. You crossed that line. And even brought up things that neither of us said or had nothing to do with the conversation. It's nice that you stick up for your friends, but this was just ridiculous. I hope after reading my comment, we can all just continue like none of these misunderstandings happened, and actually converse about the topic of animal cruelty in a civillized manner like we were trying to do.

We were not being rude. I don't believe either of us said one thing out of line. We were commenting on a journal entry, but not one single thing we said could be construed as rude. In fact, I believe we were both completely polite.
