I was very suspicious about the books for a long time and mocked my grown-up friends when they were trying to convince me to read them and finally on X'mas hollidays I get bored and read them all XD
Fan-art are a good way to exercise thought.

Yeah. But for a while fan-art was screwing me up, I focused more on replicating the characters exactly and not at all on developing a style. Not that I'm good enough to even have a style, but I don't have much of a problem like that anymore--mostly I just draw my own characters, haha.

Speaking of....I reeeally need to do Raith justice...he's my baby, a spoiled rich-kid elf who thinks he's a vampire. Or, in the sci-fi world, a 15-year-old punk with a robotic arm and left eye, courtesy of a particularly nasty fight over protecting his sister, Kait, who in the fantasy with is an assassin...woops, got carried away with myself, there Ah, what can I say, they're my babies...and before you ask, NO, they're not twins. Kait is almost a year older than Raith, and their body types are totally (well, mostly) completely different.

Yeah....wish I could paint like you.

Oh, really, I'm not talented, or at least not as much i could possibly dream to be.
Most important is to keep drawing and observing. That sounds stupid but that how it works with me.
