I love your avatar, do you draw it yourself? I loved the Kamisama Kiss anime too.   Manga is usually always better then the anime. As for Inuyasha I can't decide. The anime left out so much material for the manga, but the anime filler episodes with Sesshoumaru's group with Rin were awesome (episode 96,99,162 for example). I watch a lot of Sesshoumaru and Rin video's on youtube if you like I could sent you an link if I find an really good video.

As for the Inuyasha series, I hear ya! It's hard to decide because quite frankly I enjoyed the anime as well as the manga even though some key information was lost during the anime.
