ZOMBIESSSS! I've been obsessively watching 'Walking Dead', probably one of those singular series I still care to watch, and to be honest - the zombies are cool there. But they don't get to surprise me anymore. I mean, I remember at first how I was startled here and there. Now.... Not so much. Zombie popping out of a milkshake? Meh, seen it coming

My thesis topic.. I write about Edmund Spenser's Amoretti (have you read it?) - a courtly love sonnet sequence. If you haven't read, it is really beautiful. ( here's a link - www.luminarium.org/renascence-… )
I claim that unlike the tradition of courtly love, which is about courting the sublimated Lady (an ideal conception) but actually it is more about autoerotic jouissante satisfaction, in Spenser's case it is probably the only sonnet sequence which acted as a means of approaching an actual lady. It is quite fascinating
