I'm can't remember if I responded to your previous reply to my being in a slump, but that one along with the one you just left in my recent journal was extremely insightful and well, I thought, uplifting. Basically I just write what I am feeling at the present time, and what you said cannot be argued with. How we feel really does alter our perception of life at the time. And that is something we should all remember, even in our writing. So I must say, Thank you for reminding me of that.
On a side not, you've been here for quite a while with amazingly analytical and insightful comments, I really wonder who you are.

yeah, so i've been too busy to get around to revising that poem. actually i haven't written anything. working too much.
had some time on my hands, remembered your comment, decided to drop by. too bad you have nothing here.
if you write anything, i am officially asking you submit something good for us to read around here. not that anything is bad. just a mater of tastes i suspose.
ok so i don't personally agree with that statemet; it sounded good though right?

Didn't realize that it was an older work, or that there was already three pages of comments.
Would it have been any help if it was a newer piece? Critiquers need feedback too.
What to make of it? Someone posted in the forum that no one bothers with prose. Your comments there are always intelligent and humorous, and you write prose, so your name came to mind when looking for prose to critique.
heh, no the fact is that you came with a totally different interpretation/critique from anyone else (don't misunderstand me, it's not a bad thing and i don't like waves of agreement). i'm still trying to find some time to address your careful critique with the attention it deserves (which you gave the piece) and without coming out as a spoiled author that doesn't agree. 
long story short, i would agree with you if this were your regular narrative but it was intended to be a mix of poetic prose/ apparent stream of consciousness that addressed more the emotions than the mind. as i've said, i'm still trying to find a way to respond to your comment properly. it might boil down to a matter of taste but then again, i might have made some major errors. i need a bit of time to digest it, that's all.
it is an older work with lots of comments, but that doesn't matter. i'm always willing to take critiques and i appreciate you taking the time to read and comment. all i have posted right now is either in a way to the recycle bin or the editing table, so while i don't actually need any critiques, i can't say no to them.
so I thank you for the critique and for your compliments. you too always struck me as a particularly articulate and interesting person with whom one could talk for a long time without getting bored.
