You deserve more publicity than this. You do great things for the writing community.

Haha, you were the first to notice.
Doing shit like that and waiting for someone to notice amuses me.
Damn you for noticing, though.
. . . let's see who else will, all right? So SHUSH!

"The little busy icon on my page is left-handed."
It's the stuff I don't know!
Really, I found that amusing that I never realized it. I want more of these random, 4pm thoughts.

Random thoughts as of 4pm: The little busy icon on my page is left-handed. I thought that was important, somehow. Not enough to merit a journal entry, but still vaguely noteworthy.

The last time I smashed my knee up climbing a fence was in ninth grade, it was to retrieve a soccerball.
The fact is, I have brown eyes, and therefore fear myself and the capabilities only brown eyes seem to set upon your soul. It'll tear it out if you're not careful.

You're right that there isn't enough prose on DevArt. I think that may be because it is just easier to churn out a rushed poem, than it is prose. I have yet to comment on your prose (because after a brief read I realised they do require more time to comment on than the average poem), but i definitely plan on doing so.
PS - I've hear the quote "How appropriate. You fight like a cow" before, and seeing it under your comments made me desparately try to remember where it came from. Please, jog my memory! Thanks.

Not even tumbleweed would venture into that barn.
Still, I need more fonts, and I'm too lazy to go search randomly.

If you're a bitch for saying what you feel and what bothered you about the piece, then so is every other poet that ever offered criticism.
Bitchy would be if you took it too far and actually said you haven't seen anything worse in your life, and that you wish poets like that should die. That would make you a bitch.

no apologies whatsoever on that comment! you were completely right and i love so much reading another person's mind that has come in accordance with my own through my poetry, though subtle.
I appreciate it very much!

I agree with you completely; I was writing them, and as I placed them together, I was contemplating whether I should do it or not. I wanted it to be formed into a poetry/prose-like piece, something I had never done before with longer lines to fit the prose definition, and still some poetry form cut in.
I guess I failed.
Thank you, I love and appreciate your comments - it's good to see those who aren't afraid to say what they feel.

And you have some wonderful comments.
I'm waiting to digest your comment on THISAPPOINTMEANTHIS,
I'm very thankful for it.
Oh, but while I'm here, don't worry about negativity.
I myself compliment very rarely,
as I myself don't value compliments much at all.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and review those pieces. It's so refreshing to get some useful comments. With "Visions," I always look at the "Of belonging" line and kind of see out of place as well. I think that I will do something about that though. Thank you for your comments on both those pieces. They are well appreciated. And yes, I did those stanzas.

You see, my perception of winter was thrown in with this piece. I perceive winter to be something enchanting and memorable; something that isn't even describable. I think winter is what I portrayed the character in the poem to believe (everything he thought, even though I didn't elaborate that much, is what I think of winter; so when you read about "him", it's me) - I took you into my head, and showed you what I thought would be known as winter; a beautiful, enchanting kiss from nature. Or, in other words, the snow.
The feather, well that's another example of winter - it represents snow, as well.
And with "tempt" instead of "tempted", I didn't want anything to look like past-tense. I wanted it to be like it's happening right now, before the reader's eyes, and not just a memory of a winter's kiss.
Thank you for that comment, I really enjoyed your suggestions and interpretation on everything - and for the watch, too, I'm equally grateful.
