Your drawings put me in mind of some stuff by the illustrator Katie Thamer Treherne just in how detailed the object elements you include are (although I also think you can benefit from putting more detail into your figures themselves and not just their lavish adornments). If you ever find the opportunity, check out her illustrations in George MacDonald's The Light Princess (hardcover).
