COngrats on both Bukkakeworld and Planet of the Owls. I just wrote some of my most controversial works to date, one dealing with the abortion debate head on and the other that takes a swipe at the whole real person fiction writing world.

Yep, well I've been here since '05 but I could never seem to get updated. But now I have a routine and should update more often.
I like what ya got going on here, good stuff. Careful now, I might select one of your pieces as a my current favorite.

hey there, you wrote something on my page about the daily deviations, namely, not getting one. i wouldn't worry about it too much, far as i'm concerned the dd-s are a bit of a joke really. the ones that are well done are usually very typical images, i try to not even look at them anymore. don't think i can handle seeing another digital painting of a fairy, for fuck's sake.
anyway, i've tried suggesting daily deviations and as far as i know i've just been ignored, although i do understand the admins don't really have time so ... whatever. in any case, i think you have plenty of pieces that could qualify, you just have to find someone who's maybe known enough in the 'community' to be listened to...but i really don't think they're [the daily devs] that important.

it's a good and proper mature statement you're making there SpiderFlux,
but as this is a visual community of 15,000,000 deviations and rising (whatever comment one has about 'quality') you're sure to disappear into the black morass were it not for the life boat of an occassional D.D. in your general direction.
I don't like the system because it's very much like a lottery. An arbitrary pick'n'mix where one day some Admin will choose one of the thousands of [link] that pass by him/her every day. It must be impossible to choose.
In truth, I'm only here to 'show' - I don't have any prints for sale (that's not why I'm here) - and I'm not very up on community spirit (I have joined a few [link] sessions or D.A.community sessions, I've even tried the forums, but engaging thirteen year olds too bored to go outside and kick a football around is not what rocks my boat).
Sitting here in obscurity means nothing to me, it does not compute. The deviant artworks and writing I produce/have produced must be publicly seen. Simple as that. There is no other reason for this gallery.
