I really love your comic pages. How do you go about making a page? And what size paper do you use?

For size, I use the A4 template in photoshop for independant press (as self-published stuff usually ends up printed on A4/A5 pages) at 300dpi, and a self-made template for American-format stuff like Accent UK.
If I don't scan in completly pencilled A3 pages for digital inking, I usually start with a thumbnail layout on its own layer in photoshop, then flesh it out on another layer, then flesh that out on another layer, and gradually it takes shape. Once I have a finished layer of linework, I make a layer of flat colours, then a layer of tones, then combine them all and maybe do some effects, like a layer of colour highlights.
There's probably a really easy way of doing it, though. I have no idea what I'm doing in Photoshop for the most part, as I gather Illustrator is the preferred programme for comics since it uses vectors rather than bitmap images. But I get by alright so far.
