Thank you so much for joining Dawn of a New Era. I hope to see a lot of your Dawn renders up there. BTW-- Love your new character Sam at Hivewire. I got her into my runtime and will hopefully turn out something soon with her.

Haven't been here in a while (I apologize), but now that I'm back I quickly appreciated just how delightful an eye you have for 3d portrait art. Your faces, expressions, makeup, etc. are all so out of the mainstream, and yet they work. Some, like "Ubasti" are spectacular. At first I thought you'd constructed a Liz Taylor model. But then I looked closer and discovered my error. But, y'know, give her violet eyes and slightly more feline cheekbones and she could have been a close-to-Liz!

I'm really glad you liked it, M.! I have found it extremely relaxing to work with my renders in this more free and openminded place... Let's see what your Madame B. will come up with the next time...

Back for a visit, first since January. And admiring all the new images. Great variety of theme, color, approach. Nice new experiments, too. "SteamyDreamy" brought a huge smile to me lips, triggering as it did memories of all those '40s-'60s pinup styles, and with a nice humorous spin, too. Liked "Winter2" for its mystery. You're doing such very nice work.
I'm looking forward to returning soon.

Hi,
Just finished my first visit to this gallery, and I took my time wandering its hallways. There was a lot to see.
First, many congrats on all the adventuresome play and testing of the capabilities of your various CG apps. I admire your willingness to play in the sandbox and make a mess, if necessary.
Second, I enjoyed your command of the palette. Really nice use of color to make the viewer's gaze move around and explore various points of view.
Third: simply a comment. I'm REALLY tired of collagenetic lips a la Angleina Jolie, Loni Anderson, etc. And I was getting quite annoyed with what seemed to be your fixation on overly full, heavily painted lips. That is, until I arrived at the most recent 100-150 images you've posted, where you begin to seriously experiment, playing with other looks, different shapes, and doing a fine, fine job of it.
Yeah, yeah, I know. You've got a right to explore whatever artistic horizons you wish. And you do it well. But speaking only for myself, I don't particularly care for that Jolie look; not on her, not on runway models, and not on pinup images created by CG artists. So I was thinking, "Oh well, the gal's got the chops, and it's nice to see, but she's into something I'm not so I guess this gallery ain't for me." And then there was that shift, and "Bingo!" I'm right back with you and glad to be here.
Anyway, I am looking forward to returning, and I do hope you'll keep playing with new looks, and take it easy on the lipstick.
BTW: if you really want to explore the full-lipped look without falling into the Jolie trap, take a look at Cambodian and Laotian women. Those lips come in nature, not in a syringe. And they are gorgeous!!
