Sorry about not replying sooner.
I etch these glasses myself. In a nutshell, I cut the designs into vinyl, apply the vinyl to the glass, and then smear an acid paste over it. Where the acid is in contact with the glass, the glass gets etched.

Definitely want to go to the meetup, but not sure if I'll be able to. Unfortunately it's the same day as my best friend's 1st anniversary, so checking to see what his plans are first. Hopefully they'll just want a romantic night in together

Other than that, I've been keeping busy. Been down to just myself and one other at work to cover 24hrs a day every day, so not been getting as much done as I'd like on my glasswork. I'll soon have a minion back off of holiday though, and another 2 recruited and trained soon \o/

Aha, please do come! I'm trying to persuade a few people to come, a friends asked me to go to hers to get her mum to allowing her daughter *my friend* to come x3 I'm just that trustworthy B)

Never had the whole 1st anniversary thing to worry about so far, so never really thought about it. Even if I am wanted along it won't be until the evening though so should be good to go for most of the meet at least

On another note, I have no idea what you mean with the glass spinning pen thing But I'll bring some of my glasses along~

A Dremel I'm guessing, although I don't use that method to do my engraving. I use a stencil & acid method. Which reminds me, I only have a few days left to finish Greg & Suzanne's anniversary present >.<

Also, why do I get the feeling that I'm being remembered as "The Pony Guy"? (I ask whilst making plans to make a pony hoody )

A good source for fanfics is Equestria Daily . Cupcakes is the fanfic I was warning you about. Bittersweet is one that I do think is well done (albeit in a heartwrenching way).
