thanx. and yes every illo in my gallery was done by me. i start out with a blue line 0.5 mechanical pencil and a straight edge here and there. then i finish with a mechanical pencil with an HB to 2h and sometimes and F lead.

i study design back in the mid 90's, at Prairie View A&M, and then at the Art Institute of Houston.

I never had any talented drawing skills, but I do what I can, haha. What else do you do aside from sketching/drawing? Anything digital? Photography? What do you do with your skills as far as work? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to figure out what the "design world" is all about and how it works so I ask a lot of people a lot of questions who are close to or in the field just to get an idea of what I'll be doing. ^_^

i'm an illustrator by choice. no digital work except for a few colors. haven't done photography in years ( but i plan on getting back into that ). as for as work i do magazine layout and concept design. and np, the only way we grow as artist is by asking questions. the design world is a big place, you just have to find your niche.
