Thanks for the kind words. Layla. I know about getting no time to practice: for years I've worked as a carpenter and my art slowly slid off the plate. Thanks to a slight illness this fall, I again have some free time but am not finding it easy to just start up again.:-P

Mine is done in pencil and there are some bits that i think could be better but the amount of detail that was on it! It took me ages! Espcially trying to get nose right! And then putting all her tattoo's on her!
I think i proberly could of drawn her in an easier pose then i did, its just the pic looked cool lol Serves me right really!

Hehe, that's the reason I tend to do most of my stuff in pencil although sometimes if I'm doing something simple I'll do it straight in pen.
I always have trouble drawing people's noses- it's the one body part which always catches me out. I did a lot of drawing over the summer though and it is getting a little better.

Yeah i agree! I actually do most of my pianting at Sarah's i did this manga painting of Bride of the water God there last time it turned out alright considering i haden't painted properly in years! lol
I will put it up but it has to be done by photo cause its way too big to scan lol
Im the same with drawing noses i get the eye's right but the nose catches me out everytime!

Yeah although saying that sometimes I'll sit down and I'll draw something from stratch and think it's fantastic and then a few weeks later I'll sit down to do something I've had planned out for a while and it turns out horrid.
I've run out of canvas actually so I've had to stick to drawing. I might get some in the Christmas sales though and do a bit more painting.
