Nice windowmanager, I'm the one that added UnixPunx83's JWM screenshot to the OpenBSD article on Wikipedia, which reminds me, I've not gone there in a long time. I should probably check to make sure noone has broken the article.

thanks for showing interest...

unfourtunately, there arent any complete stories of the ulvur anywhere other than in my head...

However, ive put down the basic information of their culture and stuff in an entry at a website called the Santharian Dream.. although that information is adapted for the world of Santharia and not the *actual*, official version, which will be based in a world entirely of my own. But the Satharia version is still very close to the original idea, and the only 'modifications' necessary will prolly just be replacing names of locations
Confused yet?

Here's the Santharia entry: [link]

The key to a happy life:

ΒΌ Apathy of others opinions.
ΒΌ Ferocity of your own.
ΒΌ Complacency that others will not change.
ΒΌ Savvy that all people are good in their own right.

Can't even recall the sources involved in the creation of that fortune cookie.

Why is it I can find no good online novels?

You know me, I am a worm, I am that overweight, pimply guy with long hair and glasses that high perpetually has his nose in a book, and if not there, I am talking about a book.

I have read novels for many reasons:

I was forced to it by a teacher.
I was coerced to it by a friend.
I was lured to it by a parent.
I was pulled to it by a writer.
I was drawn to it by a chance.

Of all those, the most rewarding has been the fifth. I have ordered those means of discovery from my most to least appreciated. Some may find a friend has better taste then a parent, and for them it may be so but I find that my father has the best taste in books that I have ever seen - a constant level of quality - whereas friends will often fall into trendiness of the times.

Because I like to play chance with my reading I have found books that I have enjoyed greatly, so to have I discovered things that killed trees only for the sake of filling shelves.

On the internet I have found great comics, galleries, magna, music, games and even poetry. There are communities for all these, with the artists linking to eachother's sites, encouraging one another and converging in focal points such as this. Yet I cannot seem to find such a thing for online story writers.

There is no KeenSpace, no buzzComix, no Newgrounds, I can not seem to find a webring for writers that anyone uses to display work.

There are individual authour's sites, publisher's sites, I can even find a few places with tips and tricks to get into writing novels, yet it seems a writer cannot put their work online for people to read, then go and read other people's writing.

Is this just me being unable to find the good one? Is there a novel list, where people help to rate and shape eachother's work?
