Word on the street is that you have some crazy photoshop actions. If you were willing to send me a couple, that would be ultra snazzy. I do not use actions as is, but if I were to discover some useful ones it might motivate me to learn how to take advantage of them.

paraballein In reply to ubu [2004-08-20 19:45:36 +0000 UTC]
Most of my actions are for my commercial design work, and the art ones are recordings of my own strokes and techniques which I rarely give out even to friends let alone people I don't know. So I don't know, not keen on giving them out... Even simple actions are very useful, take my word for it. They streamline your art, techniques that take minutes to do by hand can take seconds done in an action, leaving your mind free to flow on your art and not get as bogged down in rudimentary techniques. I think that actions keeping you in the right head space is more important then the time they save.
You should for sure put some time into learning how to make and use actions. You have some great paintings from the glance I had, for a traditional artist I would guess photoshop automation would be even more valuable in keeping a flow going when your working in digital.

Ah, very interesting. You know I think I will make it a priority to look into these things sometime soon. You've piqued my interest; thank you.
