Well I originally wanted to do the printing at the end of this week but the person who was meant to do Demeter has vanished into thin air so I'm going to have to work on that or find another artist. So... I think maybe the end of next week?

I think it's probably more interesting to draw other
peoples' characters in your own distinct style even
if they end up looking like your own oc's. There's
no point emulating another persons work exactly. So
in fanart, I'd probably look for an artist's own
style inputted in it really ^^

up some recent stuff on gashu at some point)

Heh, maybe that came across wrong, what I meant is simply that I have difficulty making a character resemble one that's been so heavily stylised already.
My 'style' is as close to anatomically correct as I can get it, I sometimes don't succeed, but at least I'm happy that my hands look like hands and so on. When a character is created, often the makers style it heavily into an anime or manga theme, much the way yours is, and as such when you follow those rules to create it, the character will look similar no matter who draws it. I work differently, so my stuff never seems to resemble the original character enough for people to say 'Oh, that's Ichigo' for example.
In any case, I'm hoping that Sloth will push my boundaries a little, I'm still putting together the story in my head, but the art is going to try and mimic the theme as much as possible too. So we'll see how that turns out

Well even if you have that problem with
creating fanart, it doesn't mean much.
Original characters are more important
in my opinion anyway. Better use of
productivity 
too much time doing random fanart.
Yeah. Projects always help. I entered
Jiman last year and I noticed a massive
improvement from my last attempt at a comic
to the Jiman one and then my work in general
after that. I must have gained some experience
participating in that contest.
