yeah, it's more realistic since humans are afraid of the unknown. plus, i love the drama and stuff. but i mean, who wouldn't be afraid if they find out their friend is a monster who could potentially hurt them? she just takes his word but she seems more like the independent type who isn't too easily swayed by good looks and charm

Ah, I see. Ja, Nina's character is the independent type, but she is swept just by Spencer's looks from the all-stereotypical vampire seduction that people find in like supernatural stories and fanfiction. I guess I should have added a little bit of that into the story-line too.
But I guess before she found true love-at-first sight she was more "I'm gonna live my life the way I want it"...but after she finds that special someone, her life kind of changes course, and her personality is geared in the direction of the opposite sex.
Love can do that to you. Love is blind, and can make you do weird things. And add vampire seduction to the whole thing, and you get one big hypnotic affair going on

lol good, i was getting into the old story1 not to worry, lotsa others were more twilight than urs but i like the way this 1 started out. for once, the girl doesnt go gaga for the gorgeous new guy. yesss!!! glad to see she's got a level head on her shoulders
