Heh, you'd be surprised. I've always liked to draw, mainly doodled as a child. Once I hit about mid-teen(?) I quit drawing...lost motivation? Not sure.

The reason I made a dA account? I found out my twelve-year old cousin is into the same exact things I was when I was her age...she gave me inspiration to draw nonstop for the last two weeks

I can commend critique because I feel like constructive criticism is good for all early artists, but some people are plain mean xD

I'm just admiring your talent, and suggest that you shouldn't be too modest All it takes is one person to have interest and a piece can turn into a work of art
