Much appreciated.

Luckily I only have approx. 300 album folders to change the default icon for.

I just thank the lord I don't have to manually do the 10,000 plus tracks in the singles folders!

Why is Microsoft® Windows® Vista™ evil?

Because it wastes far too much memory to make itself pretty when that can be achieved much easier with other programs, and it can be done on older operating systems as well. Furthermore, Vista has serious compatibility issues with my game library. This is my opinion of course.

Authentic, Energetic, Reflective and Open (AERO) is a fail in my opinion. Both in looks, as in name. Because it's not authentic, there are much other things before such that did the same work, better; energetic, consuming more than the whole system without it; reflective, when it only shows transparencies, blurred; open, when it's completly closed source.

I prefer alternatives, to any Microsoft® product.

Because a friend of mine, and I agree with him, always says that people say "Vista is shit" just to follow the mainstream, and can't argue with opinions.

Indeed, people are usually like sheep going with whatever is popular. It irritates me as well, especially when they start quoting a movie for months saying how it's the best quote ever...

Anyway, all my deviations are desktop modifications so I should be aware of the problems vista has in that regard ;) (Wink)

GNU/Linux is really costumizable, much more than Windows will ever be :P (Lick)
