I'm glad I can find art that I can involve myself in. Your work has come as such a relief after this El-Taco thing. El-Taco's Tifa at the Beach is causing a bit of a stir and I find it absolutely appalling that people object to this work for the reasons that they do. I've had some rather heated conversations with people who think that art should be true to the sterotypical-chuavinistic original that it was based on and that interpretation is like the end of the world. Argh!

Thank you so much for your comments. It is a true inspiration to me to hear that at least some people understand why I take the photos that I do. I have never been inclined to discuss my images with people, because the first question most people utter is 'What the hell is it?!?' And the worst part is trying to think of a nice way to tell them that only they can answer that. And the second thing that pours like diarrhea from their mouths is 'Why take photos when nobody knows what it is?' And the only answer I can give is that it makes me happy. If people can watch TV, then surely it can't be that hard to look at one of my photos.
