Thanks The funny thing is that I missed Massive Attack while I was at Judas Priest concert. Two concerts on the same night, two completely different genres and both bands are my favorites...

So, I had to choose the legendary one over another. Judas Priest was playing for the first time in Istanbul and I thought I can always catch Massive Attack some other time.

Hehe, I also like Massive Attack. That must have been a tough decision to make, but I think you made the right one. Massive Attack will probably be touring a lot longer than Judas Priest will be I know Massive Attack are doing a pretty big tour, so you'll have to keep your eye out for any gigs near you.

I'm looking forward to seeing The Cult on Thursday at Wolverhampton. And then what I was really excited to see is that Chthonic are playing in Stoke on the 2nd November, so I'll definitely be there . And then I'm going to Femme Metal Festival on the 7th. So it's all good fun. Haven't been to a gig since Soulfly. That was so long ago. Have you seen anyone? & how's business for you? Hope its all good.

Lol! I'm not too picky at all, in total I took 195 pics and when it came to reviewing them it's just obvious they're dull and boring or just not an interesting enough composition. I'm realising that shooting outdoors is more to do with lighting and the sky than anything. Most of my shots have...how can I put it...too much "reality" in them. There's nothing about the shot that can make it become anything more than a snapshot any random tourist could take on their cheapo compact camera.

And that photo I've uploaded of the millennium stone is only just worthy of something, I was hesitant to bother with that one. It's only from shooting in RAW that I've been able to enhance some shots above boringness, it really is amazing how much more possibility you have compared to being stuck with the limits of JPG editing, have you had a play with RAW on your camera yet?

I could've got some awesome shots of the stone circle and derwentwater, but we picked the wrong time of day - we went to the lake for sunrise and the stone circle for sunset, when it turns out it's blatantly better to 'do' them the other way round because of where the light will be coming from. So I'll be better informed for next time.

Ah well, no more pics to edit by the way, that's my lot now, the rest are crap.
Anyway I won't make this an essay haha I'll message you on facebook tomorrow probz

Not that I'm complaining of course. It's just funny.

Oh yeah, I've just been on your website. What's wrong with it. I can imagine how stressful that must be for you. I hope you are able to fix it soon.

The lovely weather has ended for us. I'm finding it pretty chilly at the moment and we've had loads of rain this week. But the week before was really nice. Being stuck inside an office was not so nice. Far to hot and unbearable, and having a cold that same week was not so nice. I was suffocated.

Hope you're good though.

I haven't been to any gigs 3 weeks, since Soulfly at the Sugarmill. I was up on the balcony at the back, I got a couple of photos but I didn't think they were that good. But I may put one on here just for the sake of it.

I'm off to Norfolk for a week next week so I hope to come back with lots of nice piccies.

Don't ask how I get those pics, it's only a recent occurrence really. It wasn't easy though, I've had to tweak the manual settings to get them like that.
I'm off to see a band again tonight, so I will see what I can produce tonight. I only go to practice hehehe.

I will have to tidy the house in the morning, my mum has gone to stay in manchester with a friend so I'm home alone, apart from the dogs and my sis (when she gets in from work that is).

I'm good though thank you. I just got my drum pad out, which I haven't used in about 6 months. Had a bash around, at full volume, that was fun

I had a busy week this week too, glad its a bank holiday weekend so I get 3 days off yay.

Heya,

Woo, I tidied the house today first thing. I didn't bother having a lie in, got up at quarter to 8 (my lie in time never goes past half past nine lol) so I was up and ready for 9, which was good, and I was done for about 10.

Not been up to much else really, sorted through last nights rubbish photos, and picked an odd couple of mediocre ones. Just uploaded. Listened to music, and thats about it.
The headline band I went to see last night was called The River Card, they are a local hardcore / screamo type band. Not my everyday cup of tea music choice, but it was an ok gig. The mosh pit loonies almost broke out in a fight, that was funny. All the singers though we in the crowd (if you can call it a crowd, it wasn't very full at all). The singer of the River Card kept getting right close to me :/. It was cool, the Sworn To Oath guys (band I saw the other day) were there, was going tell them I've got some ok-ish photos if they wanted me to email them to them, but I'm a chicken lol. I'll put em on myspace and tag them instead hehe.
Looks like I'm back to the drawing board with my camera though, not impressed at all with the photos last night. Back to tweaking the manual settings again *rolls eyes*

Hehe, I know what you mean about the computer distractions, naughty computers aren't they

I've heard of Sworn To Oath hmm but I can't recall what they sound like, I will have to look into them again no doubt & I'm sure they will steal your photos of them ^^ They are really good.

Thankfully I'm having a lazy day today.. No work, No needing to get shopping.. Just peace & quite ^^
Then after I plan on watching a movie.. I think.

Lol, sometimes when you're cleaning, being quick isn't necessarily a good thing. I may have taken a few shortcuts to make me a bit quicker. I did the visible areas hehe. And that's great your slower in what you do, because that means you're thorough lol. Depends on my mood whether I'm going to be thorough or slap-dash about something lol.

Sworn to Oath are pretty cool, not too fond of the singers vocals but the backing vocals and tracks are awesome. You should look into them again if you get some time.

I still need to put the photos on myspace. Might do that in a min. Though I'll probably get distracted and go onto something else.

Sounds like you had an awesome day planned the other day, I hope it went all to plan, with peace and quiet. And a movie? What did you watch. Haven't watched a good film in a while.

I did the shopping then I went around to Comet and gave in to my temptation to get a netbook. Which is what I'm on now. It's great, cute too hehe.
