Things have been good~ I finally moved back in September, and I just went in for an MRI this morning to find out if I'll be needing surgery on my knee. What about you?

We're not entirely sure what she is. At first we thought she was a mix, but now we think she's just a mini schnauzer. She was one of the puppies in a litter seized from a puppy mill, so.. As for her name, it took me days to convince my mum if I could name her Moki XP She hated the name at first.

I've dislocated the same knee twice now, so I was recommended for an MRI to see if there is anything wrong with my legs (rather than the dislocations being accidents). The surgeon we saw found out that there's something in my leg that isn't centered, so it's pushing my knee outward rather than keeping it in place, and my kneecap is slightly smaller than average. They decided to do an MRI on both my legs to see if there is anything else, and if I'll need surgery. The surgeon said that is /will/ happen again in the future at some point, rather than there being a likely chance it'll happen again. Hopefully, if I do get it, surgery will help with that.

I'm still around... albeit not for much longer with the way the sites sailing. But yah, mainly on it cuz my friends are on there and I like them. XD

*envious of job* I hope to get one soon! I'm going to a job convention down at the airport on the 22nd! It pays 14.50 an hour!! That's crazzzzy! Considering our minimum wage is 8.50 an hour. >3 CA-CHING!

Eh, wynn and the activity. I'm an admin there but my muse is low and whatnot. I've been there for a little more than 2 years now. At that point, you begin to see it all you know? xD

I'm sick D: I have to go into the doctors today in. Sore throat, ear infections... and I got these strange red bump thingies on my elbows... It was on one then spread to the other o.o It doesn't hurt but it shouldn't be there. xD

I like looking at their pretty colors a lot. xD I'm always so scared that it'll bite me xD I've owned... dogs, cats, rats, mice, gerbils, rabbits, goats, cows, llama's.... (I lived on a farm in a foster care xD) but yah... I'll likely end up adopting a birdy in the far future... but I'd need to do extensive research. I know zero about a bird and I'd feel absolutely terrible if I owned an animal I didn't know how to care for/handle. xD

Eeep, hopefully the docs went well - and you are feeling better soon, doesn't sound like fun at all.

Yeah, I hear ya all right, admining is a great thing, but it also means you do see all those lows along with the highs. It killed me to see the place get stripped of rules and the corresponding lack of order that resulted, for fear of scaring off a noob... especially since I knew how many longterm/intermediate roleplayers, old and new, it was costing us. It was me they were talking to. *sighs* It's hard though... because I still love the place, and treasure the good memories I had and the friends I made. I want to go back right now but I know.. nothing has changed and I'll be led down this same path again.

Birds are no different from learning the cues and body language from any animal - the more time you spend around them the easier it is You're obviously a pet person - you wouldn't approach a dog that was snarling, cowering and had it's hackles up and pat it - birds give these sorts of cues, too. Give me a message when you're looking at getting one though or if you want species advice

Sorry I didn't reply right away, I'm finally feeling better! I had an ear infection, a strep throat and eczema! Yikes! But tis all gone now! I still have a bit of a cough, but nothing that can stop me! WCRPG... is going down. I'm really only remaining for my few characters and my friends I have here.

How do you tell the signs? *tilts head* I have a doggy and a few kitties right now... and though I am a little frightened of getting bit (I am of any animal really! xD) I love to look at their pretty colors and they can sometimes speak! Frostsouls bird says "Emmy!" and "stop it!" that's SO cool!

That's a rough thing for WCRPG... The series itself I think has had its day, like everything, now it is finished being written, it just won't have the same pull. And that will reflect through in the roleplay world, but then, obviously I had my disagreements with how it was being run and that hasn't helped.

Well, aggressive birds will crouch or lower their body, many will hiss. The tail will often fan out and many birds raise the feathers on their back (think a dog or cat's hackles raising) and even lift the wings and hold them out slightly, and some will gape, or open their beak ready to bite. The more types of parrots you look at the easier it will get to read their body language!

None of my girls talk but I have met many talkers and they are great fun I'd love a talking Princess parrot, a young friend of mine just got one and he's having a ball with him!
