Hey girl! Good stuff with your pencil work! I love Marilyn too. Recently I bought this pencil drawing kit for $20 by Walter Foster and am surprised at how much it has improved my pencils, I never really knew the ins and outs of the different grade leads and little tools that could improve the shading. The kit has an instruction book and takes you thru projects to improve your pencil work, just mention it to you cos it's definitely something that helped me and may be of use to you next time you are looking round an art shop. Keep up the good work and thx for adding one of my paintings to your favs. Big warm hug, Jody

I've got every rose ever given to me, hung upside down and dried. I find them almost more beautiful, because you know the fresh ones will droop, yet the beauty of these will not fade.

yes thats very true! i pressed the petals of the roses i got on valentines day last year and the colour stayed really well. i also pressed one of the heads of the roses and it looks beautiful.
