I love you, and your art. I will do anything to help you out.
(In fact, you can pick one of my prints as a christmas present! that is if you want, but you might wait until tomorrow or something because I'm submitting some tonight)
Let me know which ones you are interested in.

Rustini,
wanted to make a moment to wish you happy holidaze!!! since I don't know if I'll see ya around before then ...
Also, below I am posting a comment thread that I originally wrote in response to a query made to me elsewhere among these pages. I dunno if it will aid you in your Terragen endeavors, but it describes somewhat how I go about setting up things for a render. It seems to work for me, and thought you might enjoy a read.
Cheers, dude!

(excerpted from ... um, somewhere ... ... )
" ... Have you got the tutorial/user guide in pdf format? Its only about 35 pages long, and explains very well the parent/child metaphor. Once you understand that, then you have to THINK in the same fashion as if you were actually going to BUILD the scene. Consider your camera angle and optics, too; in particular the depth of field, and decide what is going to be in sharp focus and what is not. Then start building terrain layers, starting with rock, then sand and earth, then arboreal foliage and then the dense foliage and the lighter highlighted foliage. This of course, is just one example. Remember your altitude and incline constraints when you are rendering layers; for instance, you don't want sand piled vertically, cuz sand just doesn't do that (at least not on this planet). And it is unlikely that you will see trees growing on a totally vertical rock slope, right?
If you'd like lots of beach detail, make a nice smooth terrain gradient that begins, say, 50 metres BELOW water level, and continues for a few metres above water level. If your water level is say 200m, and your camera is just above water level at say203 metres, and you are looking out toward an island that rises to 700 metres, and with the lighting adjusted correctly you'll render awesome details on the water surface and shoreline, and the slopes of the island will look great too, provided that you adjust the depth of field correctly to make things appear less focused with an increase in distance and height ...
Have fun continuing to experiment! "

Season Greetings
December is here, and the year is nearly over. In just a couple of weeks we'll be heading into a new year full of promise. May the final weeks of 2004 be full of joy, peace, and hope for the new year!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
