I agree with you! I have been following Trinity Blood since the anime came out... but today there just aren't enough fans left.  
But... I have recently discovered a new show that's airing in Japan right now. It's called "Dies Irae". The main villain (or so they say), is a mysterious man who is the leader of a group of elite fighters who dress in black uniforms. But Reinhard, their leader, has flowing golden hair and wears a white uniform. pm1.narvii.com/6436/aa7c1fa58c…

... bonus fact... he is voiced by the same person who voiced Cain.  
Like what I told a friend earlier, it's as if we've never said goodbye.

... Well, I have an exam coming up Friday. So I am putting this series off until after the exams. 
But yes, after this horrid thing known as exams is over, I'll start to catch up. 
(otherwise my friend - the one who liked the visual novel - will have my head as a foot-ball.   )

That's OK. It's not the first time (and probably won't be the last) something thinks I'm a girl. A lot of the male crafters have had the same experience!

... Incidentally, there is about half-and-half of males and females (by identification) on DA. We need to get this "girls are artistic, boys aren't" sort of ideas out of people's heads. It's really not fair to either gender.  

Fanfiction? no. I was never into fan-fiction. Most fanfiction are written with a romantic theme so it really alienate your straight male audience. (Then again, I'm asexual. So 99+% of fanfiction do not interest me at all.) I am afraid this isn't something that I have ever gotten into.

I've seen some male!readerxfemale!character fics out there. Although,as you said, they are  rather rare. I see they wouldn't interest you though ^^

All I know is... you are not the first (or the last) person who thinks I'm a girl...  

Like what I said, romance really isn't my cup of tea. What happened with fan fiction where you just tell a story, any kind of story, where one of the characters (or more, for that matter) just happens to be from a fandom? OC and readers can be friends, allies, enemies, family members, etc with the canon character and no romance is necessary. But it seems that the audience is very single-minded. And that's unfortunate.  

Well... you're not going to see these posted on my account. I call this the "didn't make the cut" material. But yes... that awful Cain is me. My brother took the photo and we found the Abel in a photo-shoot. Photo shoot  See? Here we all are!

There are some fanfics like that. Like fanfics just for humor purposes Often turning to crack however haha  Or what-ifs fanfics, what it would be like if this or that happened. Or sibling!reader inserts, child!reader, friend!reader inserts or the kind Not as popular but still out there ^^ I'm not sure about OCs however. I often read deathbattles as well-autor writtes a battle between characters,not necessary from the same fandom. At the end or begining there are usually included abilities and why they think battle turned out the way it did. Not sure if you heard about them. Usually they are kept in character so I rather enjoy them.

I've never been a fan of crack fiction... out-and-out comedy isn't my cup of tea, either. (For someone who drinks a lot of tea... apparently I've got a selective taste... ) At the end of the day, I am too tired and too lazy to dig through a huge pile of chaff to get to the potentially good writing. And all things considered, reader-inserts don't interest me, either. As much as I like the character or the series, I have no interest to be a part of that world. If I ever want to participate vicariously, I just watch the show/movie/etc.  

I do know death-battles, though. There are a couple of channels on Youtube that do amazing death-battle videos. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFi_Rz… This one has to be my all-time favourite. I haven't read them in fiction form, however. I wouldn't mind reading them if they are written well.

The costume took... oh, several months to put together. I had to call on my grandmother - who used to be a seamstress before retirement - to help me out with the long robe. There was a lot of sweat, blood and hot-glue involved. But I know that it could still be a lot better. That's why these photos never made the cut and won't show up on DA

As far as fanfcition goes, there are some deathbattles on deviantart as well but  there are some forums out there for mainly that purpose.

I really like it. Yes, looks detailed! I can see how it could take quite a time to make, nice job!

I was speaking to another writer recently. I was reminded that I wrote a fragment of a fan-fiction. It was a stand-alone in the fandom in the sense that the canon characters are supporting characters and the story exist in a niche time period in the original time-line, parallel to the main story-line. In 2.2K words, I've got espionage, an assassination plot, warring countries, several fight scenes -and- a serial killer on the loose. And it's nowhere near finished. As you can readily imagine... I really don't care too much about these canon/reader stories.  

I love both characters (and their friends), this Death Battle has to be my absolute favourite. And hey, the animation was just pure brilliance. You can't go wrong with that!  
Oh, really? That's interesting to know. I might look them up later. 
... say, this reminds me... why did we talk about fanficion again? Do you write/read them?

I like cosplay, but I don't have a lot of time to do them. So I usually end up with characters who look relatively simple now days. I don't have a costume planned now, but my brother thinks about it for me. I introduced him to cosplay years ago, now he comes up with plans for both of us! I hear you... I used to write a bit more often, draw a bit more often and overall tinker a bit more often, too. Having a full-time job makes all of this quite a bit  harder...  

Well... let's see... what have I done already?
I was the Protagonist from Persona 5 this year. I was Shogo Makishima from "Psycho-pass" last year. I was Ciel Phantomhive  from "Black Butler" the year before... (But no, I have not watched the show. ) I was Dell Honne - one of the fan-made Vocaloids the year before that. For one outing I was Rufus ShinRa from Final Fantasy VII. And then there was Cain Knightlord. So you might say... I have been shrinking the difficulties of my cosplays - since I don't have as much time to devote to this hobby anymore. But I am still trying.  
As for fandoms that I am into? Well... a lot of things! I just can't keep a list of all of them!  

... This reminds me... I have a long purplish-blue wig. I have one of those really long cloaks... Maybe I can try "Issak II" at some point in time...

Oh, yes... we referred to each other by our character's name, actually (of course, they are my Turks. So they called me boss all weekend... There was another Rufus in the convention but he got up from his wheelchair all the time. And he dragged his feet on the floor. Not very convincing at all! In fact, we attracted so much attention because we were very convincing. People started to follow us around and we eventually had almost the whole cast walking with us!  

My friend (the one who liked the visual novel) said that this "Isaak II" was secretly the one controlling the massive "bad guys" group with Reinhard (a.k.a. "Cain II"). So... yeah! He's more like Isaak than I first gave him credit for!

Oh, we certainly did! It's the highlight of our cosplaying... er... career.  
We were never able to repeat that performance again. But it was great while it lasted!  

Something tells me Dies Irae is going to be an interesting one, too. It was originally a visual novel and my friend has downloaded it off of Steam recently. The plan is to figure out just what's happened in the big, over-arching story. I'm pretty curious, too!
