Heyy!!! So I saw your ornamental typography thing and I'm actually doing ornamental for my lvl 3 art and design project. So do you know the name of the book or the artist that inspired you to do it? I'm also from Hammy btw.

There was a book at Hamtown library with ornamental decorations. It was just the general sense of those (with some specific bits I found in the book) that I derived some ideas from.

Technically it's $14 an hour and money means nothing to me! If I can earn enough to live then that's fine so long as the work is fun (and I'm still there until the end of the year and still enjoying it).
I'm leaving because I'm moving down to Wellington. I gotta have a change of environment...

I agree with the Fine Arts stuff. I think Design is really more to do with the technical side of producing a graphic work, whereas Fine Arts is more to do with the thought and theory behind it all. I wish I had just done a Fine Arts degree because I had basically taught myself everything WINTEC "taught" me when I was still in high school!
