Thank you for viewing and watching my gallery.
I appreciate the support of fellow Vikings.
Keep up those beautiful paintings ... and the sword craft.
Valhalla needs shield maidens with the spirits of Valkyries.

Very intriguing gallery and some impressive reenactment weaponry.
I thoroughly enjoyed viewing the details of your paintings,
and your leatherwork is beautiful.
Your art possesses an admirable integrity.
I would appreciate your opinions of my own blacksmithingΒ
and travel photography throughout Scandinavia.
You are an authentic shield maiden.
May the Aesir guide and bless you with a healthy and prosperous new year.

Thankyou for your comments, its great to know that my work is appreciated. I enjoyed seeing your photos of Scandinavia I would love to visit there myself one day. Do you do any reenactment yourself?Β

I performed and choreographed battle reenactments while living on Cape Breton Island.
My friends from the farming community were primarily Scottish, so we generally
battled as highland tribes, or reenacted Scotland's rebellion against the English invasion.
I always enjoyed organizing the events, and generally felt exhilarated at the day's end,Β
despite the aches and pains of being battered by too many over enthusiastic Scotsmen.
I haven't been active lately, other than to attend and demonstrate traditional blacksmithingΒ
at local fairs and education programs.Β
But I am anxious to become involved again with the North American Vikings reenactment group.
I'll keep you informed.

Your welcome. I have attempted the same project. If you don't mind me asking how did you attach the strap?

I didn't attach the strap, but I've made 2 another archer's bracer and I stitched the straps.Β
