Heres a few handy hints for your stay at deviantArt. I give these to you so that you may benefit from my year or so here, and forego the painful learning:
Page Views = Comments.
For most people, the majority of page views someone gets is from people responding in kind to comments.
Colour everything.
People here dont seem to like pencil drawings much.
Respond to comments on your page on the page of the commenter.
If that makes sense. For example, respond to this comment on my page. I'm likely to forget I made this comment, and thus never return to see the reply.
Same goes for deviation comments.
I'd give you some advice reguarding the tiers, but I havent figured out what goes where yet. So I'll leave that to you to figure out. But I know it can really effect page views.
