Yea, I'm the wikia man, although lately work eats all my time so for a months already I haven't visited Relic forums, and what's worse: I cannot take part in HW wikia as much as I'd love to... but in any case: It's great fun and I really love to watch it growth, especially now when I'm not the one making most edits, hehe ^^

I love talking with the Homeworld community. But sadly it seems to be diminishing. They NEED to make a Homeworld 3. D:

hehe, yea, each fan has it's own vision - if relic gonna make HW 3 there are 2 options: People will love them for continuing the best strategy series created, or people will hate them for ruining their careful vision of what HW3 suppose to be.
But in any way - HW3 seems to be most expected yet not being made continuation of the game - both by fans and relic folks, so hopefully guys at THQ will give the $$$

Remember in HW2, where 'all' the Bentusi died?

Also, do you remember in Cataclysm, where the Bentusi tried to escape through that slipgate to avoid the Beast. And you had to destroy it to prevent any more from getting through?
Well some Bentusi DID get through.
And in my opinion, they're still out there.

Hey SkywalkerPL. I made a few art projects on the Starships from my Homeworld Fanfiction. Took me sometime on the Mothership and the Crusader Symbol.

Well nothing to thanks for the fav, such great work has to be faved. I like this blueprints alot, beacause the homeworld 2 Hiigaran ships are one of the most beautiful ships i have ever seen in a sci-fi game. My most faved one is the Hiigaran Destroyer, hope i can see some blueprints of it some days ^^

yeah, this overhaul of the vanilla ships, has a higher priority^^ well, if i have finished my exams, i am thinking abaout reactivate the mod i have planned some times ago, a Last Exile Mod, because i have found one of my lost modell, you can find it in the model showroom, and i think i will use those new shaders to finish it, if i am redoing it^^

You didn't like it? Wow. It's really the spiritual successor to homeworld 2, and Gamespot even rated Sins higher, giving it 9/10. But I suppose it's all down to preference. The vessel graphics are more or less the same as in homeworld, but some of the planets (gas giants & suns) look reallycool . I admit tho, there isn't much tactics involved in the fleet battles.
Never tried star trek amarda. Another old classic is galactic civlizations.

Well... I would say it's better than in Homeworld - mostly thanks to more polys & bump maps, yet it's worsed than in Homeworld 2, especially when compare it with Hiigaran Battlecruiser ^_^ (same with explosions: compare 'resizing sprite pretending to be explosion' from SotSE with beautiful bang of Hiigaran BC).
Homeworld never had planets as entities - they were painted in background, so it's quite obvious that most games have better suns & gas gigants - even more than in HW there are no gas giants, and suns are just... shining (IHMO - way they should be).
Civil - I tend not to believe ratings. I like to test games on my own first, especially when so many ppl told that SotSE is so awesome game. I just had to try it - as some told that it's "successor" of homeworld (not only spiritual as you said, but rather in all matters).
And... I think that Stardock attempted to make XXXX game for 'noob' people. Some simplified Master of Orion, with mix of Armada & Galactic Civilizations. Yet this game is not good as each one of them separately, rather being poor attempt to create something for cash, than involving game. It's not good 4X game, not good strategy, not good RTS... I have no idea what people see in this game. Great advertisement campaign? Well... adverts, trailers, good ratings can force people to play everything, no matter if it's god game or simple crap.
