It looks pretty cool.
And very good photos too. What camera do you use?

I'm looking forward to it.

School is going excellent. I'm really getting into what graphic design is all about and feel a lot wiser than just a few months ago. Hopefully it'll come to show in my work.

So - I'm finished here in 1½ months and afterwards I'll be trying to get in at a good education, either here in Denmark or at Rietveld design school in Amsterdam

Thanks! Well I just got a Sony a350 DSLR in May, (I have on the pics, in the sidebar, what type of camera they were shot with )

Your school work is definitely making you a stronger design, which is much evident in your work. It is swimming with success!!

Weird how the time has flown by, don't you think? So where would you want to go next, Denmark or Amsterdam?

I think that whatever path you choose, you'll do amazing and you'll always have fans!

Cool.. that's quite good I guess

You're sweet
Don't know if it's an exaggeration to say my work is swimming with success. I'm still very new to the whole design-thing. But I'm definitly moving forward.

Yes, time's moving by really fast, especially when I'm doing what I really love to do - designing and hanging with some nice people. Don't know where I'll go. I think that maybe I'll give the schools in Denmark a try at first and try to find out more about them. But the school in Amsterdam is supposed to be really good, so I'm in a little dilemma. I think it'll just figure out itself.

The graphic design-scene is very competitive so it won't be easy and I'm far from the very good young designers. But I have all the time in the world

What are you doing at the moment and do you know what the future will bring for you?

Haha I try.

Yes, your work is really moving you forward. You have an amazing eye for design and your training is helping it to become more refined and professional.

As per your further education, if the money is not an option for you, why not get the better school's education? Sure not all the time does the schooling make the artist. It's the creativity within and the love for the work that make the artist.

The graphic scene is competitive no matter where you go, but if you know the right people it totally helps you out. Contacts can be everything! You're getting better, totally, and you are closer to the very good designers than most!

As per me, I'm trying to get a job at an interactive agency in the city here so that I can focus on my web design, not animation, which I am doing at the local TV station here. I'm not cut for making commercials. I need to get back to web where I can be more creative and technical. But here's hoping. Let's let the future show us the way instead of dictate it. Things will turn out fine.

I'm really happy to hear that that's what I'm hoping for.

Well, many things has an influence on what school I'll go for, also money, but mostly: Am I willing to move to a foreign country where I don't know anybody? I agree with you on the thing about the creativity within, but the school also trains you to become a designer in different areas of design. Some schools doesn't feed you creativity as much as others.

Contacts are truly good to have and luckily I'm gaining some here at my school

Sounds cool.
I'm sure you are right. But it can sometimes be kind of scary not to know what you are going to do, and how you'll earn to the daily living. I'm not too worried though.

Money, comfort in moving, courses offered, what you get out of it... it all adds up. It's gonna come to you eventually which one to choose....but start making a comparrison chart to see the differences. Positives and Negatives.

Things will even out for both of us. You keep getting more amazing and things will peak for the better.

I try.

All you can do is be happy with what you've got, smile at others, and look forward to the new and wonderful things to come.

Im sorry but being happy with what you've got doesn't always cut it. You have to be your own worst critic and strive to become better all the time.

sneakyfox In reply to cube1987 [2008-11-06 16:17:22 +0000 UTC]

I meant being happy with what you got, meaning, I'm happy I have a place of my own, food, a job, and a computer to do these things....
Some people don't have one, or most of those things... thats what I meant!!

Of course you have to be your own worst critic with your artwork. Its the only way to get better. Thats why most artists seem to be perfectionists.
