ahhh... that is a confusing subject indeed
well I think art that is sexual is still art, after all, sex is also part of humanity. It's when a "piece" was created with no soul that I have a problem with... not that I can clearly define what a "soulless piece" is, but generally... pieces that are sexual but have no real sense of humanity or the heart - usually these are repetitive and feel fake... get what I mean? That's how I differentiate between art and pornography.
But then again, it's more complicated than that... it also depends on the viewer. A piece may have been created with the intention of expressing something human, but the viewer treats it as nothing more than something to facilitate his/her sexual pleasure. Or a piece was intended to be nothing more than porn, but the viewer unexpectedly finds a deep connection with the piece.
So yeah... it's a difficult thing to differentiate. Or maybe sometimes it is better not to differentiate and just realize that there just might or might not be something we couldn't see
