Oh, I didn't tell you this but I guess I will now, cuz the thought of college and finishing highschool came up in my head. I'm seriously thinking about going into the army for 4 years, getting my GI bill then going to college.

yeah, I hate war but with conflicting interests in different men, it will always be around
Well, I'm doing it for a couple reasons:
1. Get in shape (you gotta be in TOP physical condition when on the battlefield, obviously
2. I get paid to be a soldier (GI bill I think it's called, which goes towards college funds)
3. Family Pressures (my great grandpa, my grandpa, my Uncle, and almost my dad all fought in wars, so I kinda want to live up to that, I guess
4. I'll get to shoot a gun, fun
5. Learn more discipline and to work with other people as a unit more effectively
I mean, it's gonna be a couple more years before I get my degree from college but ultimately it will have more positive effects than negative consequences

True, but sometimes we have to make decisions that will be difficult for us. I may lose my sanity, experience trauma, but ultimately I will be doing something that can help me and my family, and my country as well. But don't you dare think for a second that I'm not coming back from fighting. Even if I get limbs blown off and I'm surrounded by the enemy I will find a way back to my family, friends, and you <3 <3 <3

Well, when you go in you get a GI bill, which helps towards college (less to pay for college = more $ for my parents to pay off other stuff)
