No problem. I'm very sorry you're disappointed, boobear, but like I said: it's awesome and I'm lazy.

You're lucky I'm too lazy and you're too awesome for me to retaliate to your insolence.

I keep trying to come up with a good response to this, but your own awesomeness has foiled me.
Orrrrr else I'm just too lazy again.

It's probably laziness, I know 'cos I've so totally been there. I even tried to start a club or something where people like me could join but yeah, meh. I'll do it tomorrow.

I mean, seriously. Why bother today? I got things to do today. Tomorrow is really looking better for me.

I deliberately make sure I have things organised for tomorrow so I can last through the day. Who knows when a tonne of human stupidity and the resulting apathy reaction will hit me and cause me to revise my ideas about suicide. Tomorrow is definitely looking pretty good. They reckon the weather is gonna be nice so that just adds to its appeal.

Yeeeeah.... tomorrow is really looking better for me. I mean, I still gotta eat today and that's gonna take a bit. And by the time I'm done with that... it's pretty much time to go to sleep.

...you just made my life complete.
You know, I dream of a world one day where we won't be judged by the color of our skin, nor by the content of our character, but by the proficiency of our facial hair. I have a dream of this.

Wait. You're going camping?
...
Can I come?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
commander-salamander In reply to sparrowzing [2010-01-18 21:38:32 +0000 UTC]
Nope, just sticking it up on the lawn so's it dries out. The next job to put off is rewaterproofing it and then taking it back down again.
If I was actually going to go camping you would be the first person I'd ask to come. I haven't had s'mores for ages.

sparrowzing In reply to commander-salamander [2010-01-19 03:35:06 +0000 UTC]
You know what? We should really just go camping.
It'll be good to just give the finger to all of the sheer busy-ness and hecticness of life and just get out. You know what I mean? We can like, enjoy nature and some other stuff. Like, I dunno-- maybe we'll see a bear or something.
I could really use the break. Life's been so stressful lately. I feel like I'm going like a million miles an hour. There are not enough hours in the day. Seriously. I work wayyyy to hard.

I've always wanted to go camping inna yurt , sure it takes longer to construct but the reward is there. The satisfaction that your now one with the earth and with another people who enjoy the luxury of simpler lives. Just thinking about it makes me realise just how stressed I am.
How about the Rockys in Wyoming?

sparrowzing In reply to commander-salamander [2010-01-20 01:29:23 +0000 UTC]
I once met a woman who lived in a yurt. She was a Buddhist guru from Germany and she lived in Tibet for years. Twice a year, her son would come out and build her a new yurt (she was rather old) because they would get so beat up and worn out.
Rockies sound good. I'm from near there, so I know the temperament of the country. Are you in any way opposed to parachutes?

I am in no way or form in anyway opposed to parachutes. Whatcha have in mind?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
sparrowzing In reply to commander-salamander [2010-01-31 15:43:38 +0000 UTC]
They keep the gem in the westward part of the complex. By parachuting in, we save ourselves the risk of sneaking in through the front door. They don't have cameras pointing towards the sky because they don't believe in the Wright Brothers, so I think we should use that weakness to our advantage.
Also: I got a new parachute for Christmas and I've been DYING to try it out.

commander-salamander In reply to sparrowzing [2010-01-31 22:14:39 +0000 UTC]
Sounds like a excellent plan, it's just as well as I have been learning how to hack high tech security systems I could do with some real time, real world practice.
We get to wear black right? I like black 'cos it's slimming.
Everybody needs a parachute for Christmas!

sparrowzing In reply to commander-salamander [2010-02-01 00:22:03 +0000 UTC]
Black is slimming, and it's after Labor Day, so wearing white is just a bad idea all around. I was going to suggest brown, but that really seems like high school first-formal dance, doesn't it? Plus, everything I own that's turquoise has sequins, so that's out (sequins attract lasers, as I'm sure you're aware) and puce does nothing for my complexion, so we're out of options. Black sounds perfect.

sparrowzing In reply to sparrowzing [2010-02-19 04:47:59 +0000 UTC]
My bad. This whole 'time' thing is really confusing to me. Sometimes I move backwards, and sometimes I move forwards through it, but I always forget which way I am going.
I don't think that is going to be a problem. What's the world for if it's not for us to conquer? It's moot, that's what.

commander-salamander In reply to sparrowzing [2010-02-15 08:44:22 +0000 UTC]
Well I think it is simply because this is the turning point in our individual narratives, that being that this is the beginning and we will go into business together in the future. The only problem I can see is that we will have to be wary of both becoming to greedy and subsequently tearing our global empire apart. Personally I think we could make a good go of it and cannot see why we would limit ourselves to just the earth.

Well, I agree with the latter point. I've recently begun funding some 'secretive' work on the side. I was going to wait to tell you about it until your birthday, because I knew how happy it would make you; however, why not spoil the surprise?

My mother gave me one for my last unbirthday. I've never been one to re-gift, but it's not used at all and still quite ornery.

I mean, it's -barely- second hand. It's still got all the fury in its eyes that it has out of the box, and I've been starving it up a bit, so it's even angrier. I call him Glitter.

Ah the old country. I have never been there. Sorry for confusing your dear sweet grandmother with a woman of disrepute. I understand that these small mistakes can start wars that tear apart countries for centuries. I don't know how you feel about unicorns but I have been trying to graft the tooth buds of narwhals onto the foreheads of the most aggressive wild arabian stallions I can find.

Have no fear. Grammy was a woman of ill-repute. In fact, her stage name was 'Unicorn' because of a real unfortunate mole.
