I do plan on going to both of those conventions...that is if I can scrounge up the necessary money (being a college student sucks sometimes)

I probably wont wear my Saber costume again for a while as well. It all needs dry cleaning and the gauntlets need redone, and I need to save up for wonderflex to make the leg pieces AND I need a sword! And yeah....103 degree heat; everything needs dry cleaned.
I will hopefully be going to AnimeUSA as either Midna or the Corpse Bride and I'm hoping to have a Clavat costume and crystal chalice from FFCC for Katsucon.
I'm definitely going to re-wear some older costumes too.
Not 100% sure about AnimeUSA, but I'm not gonna miss Katsucon!

I've heard of wonderflex and debated on buying it. Have you used it before? If so would you recommend it over craft foam?

I've never used it before, but I've heard nothing but praise for it so I'm going to give it a shot. It heat forms and stays rigid, which is a big plus over craft foam. Craft foam only costs $1 a sheet though, so It's probably best to give it a shot first! haha

I might try that along with the sintra sheets for my new armor design. I have a couple of other cosplay ideas that require armor...so I'd like to give it a shot as well. Let me know how it goes for you. The craft foam dented in and was to flimsy for my liking even with the backing I had glued on.
