I have modeled professionally before. I was signed to both Chic Model Management International and New Silk Road Model Mangement, the two biggest modeling agencies in Beijing. It was not a good experience. Hours were hectic and the whole industry was shady in general (think people having sex with directors to get jobs, people bribing photographers for jobs, etc). Everything is based on personal connections.
