Actually, my Valentines Day sucks. But that's okay. I'm with a person that scares me. I've tried to break up with her, but
a) I can't be mean.
b) She's way too attached.
You've met her. You know what I'm talking about. Her drama annoys the crap out of me. I can take a little, but she takes it over the edge.
Anyway, I hate to bring down your day. So, I'll leave you with this:

Valentines Day, or V-Day as it has affectionately become known, should be renamed "D-Day". It is when the majority of engagement requests occur, or when men buck up and "drop the bomb."

Well, V-Day reminds me of all the people I love, and how much they mean to me. It's more than just a holiday for couples (though, it wouldn't hurt to have a boyfriend on Valentine's Day... Heh heh.).
I know I don't even know half about the relationship you have with your girlfriend, but it seems, from my point of view, almost unhealthy for you; and in the long run, unhealthy for her. Though you say you don't want to be mean, it seems meaner to pretend to like her (please don't take this as me calling you mean, because you are anything but that). It's none of my business, and like I said, I don't know half of it, but since you are my friend, and since you don't seem all that happy with her (from my point of view), that is what I feel.
I know you didn't ask, but that is my opinion. I may be completely wrong.
I hope your day will get a little better. Next Valentine's Day, I'm planning on going out to eat with all of our friends, so next year will be better.
