thanks for the fav on EngulfedSurrounded by a weight that I can not see.
Within so many paths that were not mine.
Sinking deeper into the sea inside of me.
Engulfed in this constant state of decline.
Depression is like a cloud that is full of rain.
Sometimes there is no rain that falls.
But other times it floods, and fills me with pain.
Engulfed inside these four walls.
Loneliness plagues my mind.
It has become my closest friend.
Inside it's chains I have been confined.
Engulfed in this sadness that will never end.
Something whispers in the night.
The echoes are ringing in my ears.
The dark thoughts I keep trying to fight.
Engulfed deep inside my fears.
Slowly breaking down piece by piece.
Every day a piece fades away.
Will this separation ever cease?
Engulfed in this rapid decay.
They say everything happens for a reason.
But what is the reason for this hell?
I just feel stuck inside a prison.
Engulfed by the darkness where I dwell.
