Haha, sure you can. I have an 18-105mm VR, it came with my D90.
If I were about to get a new lens, I would probably get either the Nikon 105mm VR micro or the 70-300mm VR zoom. But that's just me (:
It all depends on what you like taking pictures of. You should look at different lenses and the pictures they take to see which ones you like.

Alright. Well, as you may have seen in my journal, I did just get a Nikon. And the man who gave it to me suggested I get a standard 50mm lense, which is actually pretty good since I'm just beginning to use the camera. But I will keep your lenses in mind for the future.

Hey babe, I've missed ya too. Sorry I haven't been on in a good bit, I've been off-beat. Too much on my mind, lots of troubles. But I'm in a very sentimental mood at the moment. I just took a nice long walk in the cold rain to get my thoughts straight, I feel the need to do it again even though I'm still soaking wet. It felt so renewing. And I feel the need to find the perfect picture of somebody walking in the rain without an umbrella, not caring that they're getting wet. Just doing it to do it because they want to do it, and no other reason in the world.

Maybe I need to write something (: Idk, but I need to clear my thoughts.

I completely understand what you are going through. I've been feeling the same way this week, missing one of my old best friends. I haven't seen him or talked to him in so long, and I really feel like I should soon. Writing something will really help you get your feelings out better than anything.

Thanks for asking! The drive was boring.. and painful because I fell asleep in the wrong position and my arm fell asleep.
I'll probably walk down to the beach tomorrow.
It's so frickin humid though! Like I went out on the balcony to get some shots.. and it's so humid that my lens kept fogging up! my view finder too!.. Thats going to be a pain.

Yeahh, today I pretty much just took pictures of the family. Idk if they're worth putting up because they're just casual pictures of the babies playing in the water but maybe I'll upload em to photobucket or something and let ya have a look ^^

I'm just relaxing right now.. i feel all sticky and ew from all this humidity and salt water. ): Ew.
And I wish I had a tripod because then I'd take more pics like the one I'll put in my scraps so you can look at it. ^^
